an eye for beauty.

I can’t even begin to tell you the journey my camera and I have been on. It all started when I was just 12 years old. My parents got me a little digital camera for my birthday, and ever since, I’ve hardly stopped capturing moments.
Photographs have truly been a major part of my life. If you don’t think I’m serious, I have over 32,000 photos on my phone alone, capturing memories and daily life since 2016. It is pretty convenient to always have a camera on you at a moment's notice.
I graduated from Franklin College in 2020 with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Visual Communications. My goal has always been to support ministries and nonprofits through visual media, which really shaped the direction of my photography journey. Over the years, I’ve been part of multiple church plants, aiding in communications, marketing, photography, and video. As I have picked up jobs with heavy visual communications responsibilities, I've realized my favorite moments are always the unstaged, organic ones. Because of that, I’ve really shifted over the last few years toward a true documentary style.
I carried that approach into my three years with Wheeler Mission, where I had the unique opportunity to photograph and document the raw, real stories of the people the organization served. Mixed in between all of that has been dozens of freelance photoshoots over the last six years. I've loved stepping into people's lives to bring that same authentic lens to micro weddings, family photos, portrait sessions, and more.
Beyond that, I spent two summers photographing camp life and all the incredible things God was doing at Camp Allendale. I also spent a couple of years at a Christian school in North Indy, where I was constantly on the move coordinating and shooting photography for all of our school events.
Though photography is not my entire life, it definitely takes up a lot of room. I know for sure that when I'm not capturing moments, I’m creating them. I love to make art, experiment to no end, and really find beauty in the everyday things around me.
You can find examples of my eye throughout these pages. I hope my work sparks something in you to trust me with your moments, and I hope you see that I can see beauty in your story, too.
